You absolutely MUST upload these files in BINARY format.  

All popular FTP programs (Filezilla is great) have the ability to upload in
binary, ascii, or in an auto-recognize format.  It is best to manually choose
binary upload.

If you don't, upload in Binary, the script won't work.  

(I'm sorry to be redundant but I know someone will contact me after they
uploaded the files in ascii)

Also, do NOT change anything in the ioncube folder.  That folder is necessary
to make the code work.

The files in the ioncube folder are set up to work for PHP 4.2 and 4.3 running
on Apache with safemode OFF.

If you have safemode on, then you will either need to turn off safemode or make
a simple change to your php.ini file (your web host knows what that is).  It's
probably easier for you to ask your host to turn safemode OFF... but I will help
you either way, to the best of my ability.

download a file from here
